Alix lives and works in London, UK
After studying Fine Arts/Curation for three years at La Sorbonnes in Paris, I decided to apply the theories I learnt to a more 3D based field through studying Product Design at Central Saint Martins.
I graduated from the Master Social Design in the Design Academy in Eindhoven in June 2015.
I am currently part of the Designers in Residence 2016 program at the Design Museum London.
My work is a mix of my interest in the theory, philosophy and psychology of human sciences coupled with a real passion for human behaviours the environment we live in.
I try to combine different disciplines such as product design, research, installation and art installation, so I can explore human activity and everyday solutions.
I am always looking at fields outside of the design world and travelling to seek further inspiration. Furthermore I take every opportunity to collaborate with other professionals and craftsmen to increase my knowledge and understanding of different methods of working. This helps me to be open minded and constantly challenge my design and thought processes.
